Whilst our goal is to nurture management talents for the performing arts industry, students are also equipped with basic managerial skills in the visual arts, media and exhibition industries. Through our curriculum, students can have a firm grasp of arts management theories and practices in use in the international community, as well as a good understanding of the unique cultural environment of China. The purpose of our training is for students to acquire a strategic mindset, good taste in the arts, strong marketing sense, detailed operational know-how, and responsible social and cultural empathy.
With Principles of Arts Administration and Arts Administration Practices as our core courses, we offer courses from five major fields – the arts, management, media & communications, economics, and law. The unique structure enables the students to have a thorough understanding of the arts industry from different angles.
About the Undergraduate Program
Our curriculum is designed to meet future demands on managers in the arts and related fields. Stimulating courses and a broad multidisciplinary exposure allow students to be articulate in arts, humanities and social sciences, and gain cross-disciplinary perspectives. In addition, students enjoy abundant opportunities to participate in real-world projects to perfect their professional skills and attitudes.
